The past week has been festive and very busy for Lisbon members. We started the week with the Annual Lisbon Farmers Feed the Hungry Christmas Parade where 19 members and 5 Juniors filled multiple roles including providing an EMS standby along the parade route, traffic control, and providing coverage for apparatus during the event.

That same Saturday night we started our annual Santa Detail, escorting Santa Claus around the area in our equipment. Throughout the week we had 20 different Members and 9 Juniors take part in this tradition.

Throughout the week the station also responded to over 40 calls for service, keeping both our dedicated career staff and volunteers busy.

We have a lot to be thankful for, from the progress on our Social Hall construction, our new Tanker delivered in February, the support shown to us by the community year after year, and our membership for the hours dedicated especially during such a busy time of year. We want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a Happy New Year!
