At 8:00pm on Tuesday January 28th E41, TNK4, and WS42 were alerted to assist with a house fire on Griffith Rd in Montgomery County. Units arrived to find a house fully involved, requesting additional units to assist with rural water supply. E41 operated on scene, TNK4 assisted in the tanker shuttle, and WS42 set up a tanker fill site in Brookeville.

Just before 11:30am on Wednesday January 29th TNK4 was alerted for a house fire on Timothy Drive in Winfield. First arriving units found a working fire on the first floor which they quickly extinguished. While they operated E41 transferred to cover Winfield’s area.

Shortly before 12:30pm a second fire was dispatched in the unit Block of Grimes Ct in Mt. Airy. E41 responded from Carroll Station 14 and TNK4 responded after clearing the fire in Winfield. Units arrived to find a townhouse with fire in the attic. P45 also responded as part of the Rapid Intervention Dispatch.

Just before 9:30pm E41, TNK4, and WS42 were alerted to assist Mt. Airy with a garage fire in the 3000 Block of Flag Marsh Rd. E41 was second arriving and assisted with fire attack, TNK4 provided water, and WS42 prepared to set up a tanker fill site if needed. P45 responded as part of the Rapid Intervention Dispatch, but crews were able to knock the fire quickly and additional units were cancelled.
