Lisbon crews have been busy the last two days responding on five separate fires along with multiple EMS calls.
1/5: At 2:17pm E41, TNK4, and P45 responded to a reported house fire in the area of Frederick Rd and Drovers Ln. Upon arrival it was determined to be a controlled burn, and the assignment was placed in service.
Just before 4pm E41 responded to a brush fire in the 1000 Block of Saint Michaels Rd.
At just after 4pm TNK4, WS42, and P45 responded to a report of smoke in a house in the 1800 block of Gillis Falls Rd while E41 operated on the brush fire. Units on scene investigated a fireplace malfunction.
At 5:51pm E41 and TNK4 responded to a report of vehicles and a house on fire in the 5800 Block of Woodbine Rd in Carroll County. E41 was second arriving engine and assisted with fire attack, TNK4 assisted with rural water supply. FE251 (Green Valley) provided coverage during this incident, and responded to another working fire in West Friendship.
1/6: At 7:30am E41 and TNK4 responded to a working fire in the 4000 Block of Damascus Rd in Montgomery County. E41 set up a tanker fill site in Laytonsville, and TNK4 assisted in the tanker shuttle hauling 2 loads of water. Photos of this incident are provided by Laytonsville District VFC.
