Lisbon VFC Juniors

The Lisbon Volunteer Fire Company Juniors progrram is open to children ages 10 to 16 who are interested in learning more about the fire service and who would like to serve their community.  The Juniors have regular trainings where they learn about basic firefighting, rescue techniques, and EMS skills.  The Juniors also support the fire company at the community events and fundraisers held at the firehouse along with their own events and other community service in the area.  The Junior program was started in 2014 after the program was discontinued many years ago.  Since that time the Juniors have become a critical part of the fire company and have contributed greatly to the community.  The Juniors also provides children the opporotunity to develop an interest in the fire service which has led to many who become senior members of the department, some of which are now pursuing fire service careers.  To keep up with the Juniors check out their Facebook page below and the fire company page (link on the left sidebar).
