I want to thank the Lisbon Fire Department for everything they did for me on May 10, 2014. I was struck by a SUV while putting balloons on my mailbox for a birthday party. I am very blessed to still be alive. The EMS was incredible and very compassionate. I can not thank them enough for all the love and support they gave me at the scene, in the ambulance and when I got to the ED. You are all wonderful!

I will always be grateful to LVFD for the outstanding care they provided in transporting my father to Montgomery General Hospital before his death. They kept him calm and made him as comfortable as possible. The Men and Women of the Company are professionals to the max.

Thanks for all you do for our community.
Just read about the barn fire 1/1/2012. 5/10/10 your company responded to a barn and subsequent forest fire.
Several weeks ago you helped when a "bucket truck" overturned in my front yard.
And last week your company along with the other area counties responded to what appears to have been a house fire in the area.
Grateful for your dedication. Looking forward to your new building!
Be safe!
Sincerely,
Eileen Stewart

We just moved to the Woodbine/Lisbon area in September and required your services last night for the first time since moving. I just wanted to congratulate your staff on their professionalism, excellent care and outstanding response time. We required your services for a family member in diabetic convulsions last night and really appreciate your quick response, and support. The dispatcher also patiently guided my son through the 911 call as I cared for our family member. THANK YOU!

Always great to see West Howards pride when I visit my hometown. Engine Tanker 44 still looks as good as it did when we took our Lisbon Elem. Fire Station tour in the mid '90. The station looks great along with the web page.

Hello to my brothers and sisters at LVFD. I volunteered there in the late 70's and early 80's. I was part-time paid there while in college.
Rick Bowman, Wayne Sharpe and Chuck Ridgley would remember me as the guy with the can of yellow spray paint. I recognize the names of children of members that I served with. I see that some of the members I knew are still active. I'm glad to see that the volunteer spirit is still alive!
I see that your patch is still used as I was on the commitee that designed it. Gerald Bennett and Bubby were on the commitee too.
I be out to visit Bob (little Harv) in 2011. Hope to see some of you then.
Take care and God Bless.
Jeff

happy holidays to all members. keep up the great work. excellent web site.
see you on the road.
Got my start in the fire service at Lisbon VFC in 1973. Now I'm training firefighters in the NE Region of the state of Wyoming. I'm responsible for 8 counties and 38 volunteer organizations. My volunteer roots have been a good asset for understanding and working with rural fire departments. I haven't forgot where I came from.
A big thanks goes out to Eric for checking out our site. I always enjoy keeping up with your site. You do a great job. Stay safe and everyone comes home. Thanks and keep up the good work on your site. www.erfdnc.org .

Today, my daughter cut her finger with a very sharp knife. I had to call 911 because I could not control the bleeding and I was afraid that stitches were necessary. I did not expect the paramedics to arrive because I called 911 to get instructions on how to treat the wound. Nevertheless, I am very glad and grateful that Lisbon VFD Paramedics came and helped us control the bleeding. I am also very grateful that JJ and his team arrived at our house so quickly and were very good at what they do. Not only did JJ helped stop the bleeding, he was able to help my daughter calm down and not think about the pain.
After all the chaos has calmed down, we thanked the team and apologized for the trouble. They replied, "we are here to do our job".
So, again, a million thanks!

Hello from Delaware! I would first like to say great job on the extrication. We at Magnolia also have a G6 cutter along with many other ResQtec tools- all of the tools that ResQtec make are great . We have 2 combi tools: 1 on each engine. Our rescue squad has the G6, Great White which we purchased in 1995, 2 rams, large spreader, and a large Maxi series electric pump. We have just ordered NT air bag system and 4 Point cribbing set. If you have any questions about ResQtec send me an email.
Merry Christmas.
