The month of May is proving to be a busy month here at Lisbon VFC.
We kicked off the month with our very first Flea Market, which is quickly becoming a tradition. We joined many members of the community as we enjoyed the beautiful weather, great company, and fantastic deals!
The ever popular Chicken and Ham dinner drew quite a crowd with an appetite-- keeping our kitchen staff busy cooking all night!
Next up on the agenda is the Mother's Day Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, May 13th from 7:30-11:30am. Mothers are half-price, and hanging flower baskets will again be available for purchase.
The Spaghetti dinner is scheduled for Thursday, May 17th from 4:30-7:30pm. The dessert table is sure to impress!
Quarter Mania is being held on Friday, May 18th starting at 6pm. Tickets can be reserved in advance by calling Judy Gue at 240-674-1961.
Please join us at our first ever EMS Open House on Saturday, May 19th from 10am-3pm. Health and safety tips for the entire family will be available as well as blood pressure and health screenings, CPR and AED demonstrations, free healthy snacks, provider competitions at 11am and 1pm, and a Kids Teddy Bear Ambulance (bring your favorite stuffed animal and fix their boo-boos in the ambulance like an EMT or paramedic!). The event will be held rain or shine.
We're rounding up the month of May by celebrating our many volunteer emergency medical providers during the week of May 20-26 during National EMS Week. Our first responders, EMTs and paramedics are top-notch, and provide our community with 24/7 emergency medical care that is hard to match. What a fantastic crew we have!
